Here are some more pictures of our p-days in London. I got a new camera for Christmas and have been having some fun trying to figure it out... some pictures turned out better than others.

I am twenty years young. My companion is the sweetest and woke up at 5 in the morning to make me a birthday cake and decorate our flat. The members who invited us for lunch also gave me a birthday cake, and then later on some of our investigators did as well. So I had three birthday cakes in one day! Please excuse the 6:30 AM hair in the pictures :)

A few weeks ago on p-day we went to the Victoria and Albert Museum! It was fantastic. There is so much to see. I love to see and experience all of the wonderful things that man can create. I was reminded that one of our most Godly capacities is that of creation. The works of art, music, literature, etc. that we have the ability to make can truly touch others.
This piece was my favourite of all of the ones that we saw in the museum that day. I love the way the sculptor portrays the Saviour. Many of the other sculptures and paintings of Christ showed a sad lonely and suffering Jesus, but He Himself commands us over and over again in the Bible to "be of good cheer". I imagine that He Himself would be a striking example of good from His infancy.
When I think of Christ hope light and joy fill my heart, and I am sure that if I were to see Him that He would be of a cheerful disposition.
